The Royal Court

The Royal Court lies within the perimeter of the old mediaeval town and dates from Petru I Musat’s rule. It is a royal house made of wood, 18.50 meters long. In the second half of the 15th century, a fire destroyed the house.

The Royal Inn

The Royal Inn is one of the oldest civil buildings in the city of Suceava. It was erected over an older building, within an area for merchant shops, especially pottery shops, during the 15-16th centuries. The ground floor dates from the end of the 16th century and the beginning of the 17th but the floor is from a more recent period.

National Museum of Bucovina

You will find it on Stefan cel Mare street nr. 33, Suceava. The throne room is not to be missed where a solemn scene is being reconstructed to the prince of Suceava (historical figures life-size, sound)

The Royal Fortress Suceava

The Royal Fortress Suceava wasbuilt during Petru I Musat’s reign (1375-1391). At first it had a rectangular shape, with a 36-meter long southern side and 40-meter long eastern side and defensive square towers at each end and in the middle of each side as well.
