Gura Humorului

Gura Humorului resort is located in the intramontane depression with the same name developed from the confluence of the two rivers Moldova and Humor, at an altitude of 490m.
The beautiful landscape of this town, urges tourists to linger longer upon this lands. A special attraction is the Dendrologic park – protected nature reserve and folk museum being the only one in South-Est Europe.
Through a European project (POPAS nn), the Falcon ski slope and the swimming pool are part of a project to rehabilitate and modernize Arinis area.
Located within walking distance of the famous Romanian medieval monasteries Humor and Voronet the city is one of the most valuable areas of tourism in the Suceava district. Moreover, The Town Days Festival, Movie festival and “Autumn in Voronet” attract each year more and more tourists eager to escape the big cities to a natural environment with fresh air and greenery.
